Our Mission
The Happy Now Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a dedicated mission to making underprivileged children who don’t have anything happy. Lots of children, locally and globally, come from families who can’t afford much, like toys or games, making their lives dull, unhappy, and miserable. However, another issue was present; over 300 million old tennis balls go to waste every year. To solve both these problems, our foundation utilizes repurposed tennis balls as toys for children because tennis balls can play in an unlimited number of ways. By approaching this problem with this solution, we can help children gain happiness and satisfaction and repurpose those old tennis balls in an eco-friendly manner. With our new initiative of donating soccer balls, we can further spread the happiness which all children deserve. Although this may not seem much to offer, it could mean the world for an underprivileged child because it’s something exciting to receive, something to play with, or something that they’ve probably never seen before. Through our foundation’s significant initiative, we can brighten a child’s life, one tennis ball at a time.
What We Do
Working towards a better tomorrow
- Many children within our country, and especially around the world live in poverty and have little access to toys; sometimes their parents cannot afford to buy them toys.
- We collect used tennis balls, clean, dry them thoroughly, and donate them to underprivileged children so they could play with tennis balls.
- A tennis ball can bring them hours of happiness, and it can be used in many creative, and recreational activities. Even though it may not seem much, it could the world to these children to receive something special
- Lots of old tennis balls go to waste every year, but now we can make use of those tennis balls in an eco-friendly manner.
Our Story
Background
The foundation was established in March 2017, and we’re happy and proud of the work we’ve done so far and yet to accomplish. Covid-19 shut us down in 2020, but we were able to get back on our feet! The organization was switched to a brand new younger generation in 2022 as everyone in the previous team had graduated high school. The reason we are still here is member support and involvement which is crucial for the continued success of our organization.
