Behind the scenes, our team works around the clock to keep this organization running. The 3 main steps we do are collecting, cleaning, and distributing. We handle all the logistics required to get tennis balls to organizations and people who can use them from the donation centers.
-
We place approximately 2 yellow collection bags in approved tennis courts, with information to the donators about our program and encouraging them to donate their unwanted, used tennis balls.
-
We collect the tennis balls from the yellow bags periodically, making sure the bag and tennis balls are properly collected, stored, secured.
-
Then we manually sort the tennis balls looking for excess wear-n-tear, lack of cleanliness, and bounce.
-
After this, we clean them in a washing machine using a mild detergent and then dry them in the sunlight.
-
The next step involves packing them in boxes so that they can easily be taken to donation and distribution sites like homeless, children shelters, or volunteers who can donate them to the needy children.
-
We also receive additional help from our ambassadors, sending tennis balls to go to different countries, therefore helping third-world countries as well.
